EXPERIENCED, COMMITTED SAILORS MAY BECOME

A VOLUNTEER EDITOR FOR THEIR RATING

ON OUR SITE -

Please Read Requirements Below

As the ONLY Editor for the Navy Storekeeper.com web site (and, of course, as experienced as I am in the Storekeeper field). there are a lot smarter sailors than I who could put together an advancemenet page for their own rating with much more expertise.  Thus, for experienced and dedicated sailors who wish to do the same for their own Navy Rating, this site is more than happy to accept VOLUNTEER EDITORS in order to expand our Occupational Reference listing of current ratings.

At this time, we have 12 ratings for which I am the Editor or a Volunteer Editor has stepped in.

Storekeeper (SK), Yeoman (YN), Ship's Serviceman (SH), Culinary Specialist (CS), Boatswain Mate (BM), Personnel Specialist (PS), Postal Clerk (PC), Musician (MU), Mass Communications Specialist (MC), Navy Counselor (NC), Legalman (LN), and Hospital Corpsman (HM).

Below, please read through the requirements we ask our VOLUNTEER EDITORS to follow in order to ease the process of developing a specific rating's advancement study page.   And, of course, I place great pride in those sailors who are ready to spend their personal time in order that their fellow sailors have every opportunity, advice, and study material at their finger tips to give them the best chances for advancement -- and to TEACH them how to study for advancement!
Requirements Our Site Requests From VOLUNTEER EDITORS
Professional Military Knowledge Bibliography Portions

NOT REQUIRED: This is one section that our Volunteer Editors do not need to worry about.  Each PMK Bibliography for every advancement cycle is the same for that rate's rank.  Navy Storekeepeer.com puts this entire study section together for all ranks: active duty, reserve, and substitute bibliographies each cycle.

REQUIRED: This is the most important section we depend from our Volunteer Editors.  They are the experts and know where to obtain their own Occupational References for their rating.  Simply take the approrpriate bib and provide what one BU2  did from the link below. NO CLASSIFIED MATERIAL.
