Navy Information (Locator) Service
This Navy Information Service provides information on people, organizational units and
locations within the U.S. Navy.  United States military personnel (i.e. those accessing the
service from a .mil Internet domain) may access the information through a specialised web
interface that provides both a browsing and sophisticated search mechanism. 
 The current
system supports NAVY personnel, civilian and military, working in Navy and Joint agencies.

Navy Manpower Analysis Center
NAVMAC is a Bureau of Personnel (BUPERS) activity located in Millington, Tennessee. We
employ active duty military, civilian and contractor personnel. While the rest of BUPERS is
working to get the right sailor to the right job, we are defining the right job. While our focus
is on ships, submarines, aircraft squadrons and support units (SeaBees and SEALS), we
conduct special studies, and develop policy and procedures that have wide impact for the Navy.
