The 24 Weeks To Success Program

This comprehensive fitness program is designed to prepare your body to meet the minimum requirements for active duty sailors in the United States Navy.  These workouts may be performed individually or in groups.  This program is divided into three phases over a course of 24 weeks - no matter if assigned to ship or shore.

ELIPTICAL MACHINE AUTHORIZED FOR SPRING 2007 PRT
Commanders may now authorize the elliptical trainer as an alternative testing option for the cardio portion of the Physical Readiness Test's (PRT) 1.5 mile run beginning with the Spring 2007 physical fitness cycle. The authorized models of elliptical trainers for the official PRT test include: the Life Fitness (models CT 9500 HR, 95 XI, 91 X1 and 91X), Percor model EFX-Navy and Nautilus model E9.16. - [ click here ]

The Health Promotion (HP) Toolbox is a calendar of events and supporting resources to promote health among active duty members, reserve component members and civilian workers in Navy and Marine Corps workplaces. A specific health promotion topic is selected for each month, and resources and activity ideas are provided to support that priority topic.
